Coordinating and controlling matters related to ensuring social order, the security of Kish residents, investors and tourists, urban transportation, and traffic.

• Carrying out coordination affairs regarding developing the meetings' agenda of the Security, Administrative, Health, Traffic, Flour and Bread Council, the specialized committee of the councils, the committee for naming places and passages, and following up the meeting resolutions.

• Coordinating affairs with government departments and institutions and the private sector to convene meetings and hold glorious national and religious ceremonies and follow up on the meeting resolutions.

• Obtaining the necessary statistics and information on Kish social issues from relevant institutions and agencies.

• Preparing the necessary indicators to assess the social status of the region, calculate and update them.

• Assessing the quantity and quality of departments and institutions and evaluating their performance in providing services to the people and the extent of their adherence to the laws and regulations of free trade-industrial zones.

• Organizing training courses for departments and institutions.

• Carrying out matters related to Kish urban transportation and coordinating with the traffic police and public transportation management regarding traffic and urban transportation issues.

• Reviewing the written requests.

• Identifying and studying the social issues and problems of the region and preparing the necessary reports in cooperation with the relevant units.

• Communicating and interacting with non-governmental organizations and civic institutions and monitoring their activities.

• Issuing licenses to non-governmental organizations(NGO)

• Coordinating the organization of conferences, workshops, and executive programs.
